Ladies and Gentlemen we are pleased to announce the arrival of our new web site, designed and managed by Karl Camenzli from
Marketing in Malta. We discovered him via Stacy Kent’s web site which he has managed for several years. Please keep an eye out for news, gigs and new recordings etc. We will hopefully have a new CD out early next year. We have also made it very easy to join our mailing list, so please do so and keep up to date with TJ & the band.
We have had a very busy year playing some great festivals and gigs and now I’m planning next years events already. I did record a collection of slow broken hearted, mainly country songs but am not entirely happy with it so might bring it out at a later date, or add a few of the tracks to our new recording, we are working on that at the moment.
I have spent plenty of time with my kids over the summer and we had a great trip away up to Abersoch where we stayed with my friend Jan Atherton from the Abersoch Jazz Festival.
The rest of the time I try to focus on the life’s three essentials wine, women, and song. In a varying order of importance!!
TJ.

Well I was 40 the other day, I’ve been on the road playing music for 25 years, I’ve had two wives and got two kids, and I’ve had a good few musicians in my band. I have travelled far and wide to play my songs to many people, but 40 just seems like a new start. I think I have got my best years to come. I have many plans and dreams and I think if you dream hard enough they will come true. I also think if you worry and dwell on what could go wrong then it probably will. So positive thinking is the way forward. And also a new band van – and I’ve got one so lets get on the road !

It’s been a while since I added any latest news so it’s about time i got on top of this ! we’ve had a good year playing loads of festivals, mainly out in Europe. I have been enjoying getting away from the piano and singing up front and it’s gone very well. We have used some great piano players like phil parnell, Richard Simmons, Tom kincad and some other great guys. We are planning a new CD soon, it’s going to be a collection of ballads and songs of lost love, which brings me to the bad bit about my year. With out going in to detail my mariage to Amy has broken down. This has caused me great sadness, more than anything I have experienced before and I’ve had a few shit things happen. But life goes on and hopfully the music will get me through. I have been listening to Willie Nelson a lot, he has written some great songs in the lost love department. Anyway chin up TJ.

Just returned from a great week in Helsinki – music was received really well with a few in the audience from Russsia – perhaps Moscow or St Petersburg are future destinations? Anyone know of good jazz clubs in these cities?!
